- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, chilled and diced
- 6 to 8 tablespoons ice water
- 6 apples, peeled and sliced
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in ice water, a tablespoon at a time, until the mixture comes together.
- Roll out the dough and cut into circles for mini pie crusts.
- In another bowl, combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and cornstarch.
- Fill crusts with apple mixture and cover with remaining dough.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
