Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Coat each chicken breast in the egg, then dredge in the Parmesan mixture.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix breadcrumbs and chopped turkey bacon.
  5. Press the breadcrumb mixture onto the coated chicken breasts.
  6. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  7. Transfer chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in your favorite dressing for a few hours before cooking.
  • Feel free to use regular bacon instead of turkey bacon if desired.
