Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the softened butter, cream cheese, and brown sugar.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Drop dough by the tablespoon onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  8. Allow cooling on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
