  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate fudge sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add oil, buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  5. Once baked, allow the cake to cool slightly and then poke holes throughout the cake using a fork.
  6. Pour chocolate fudge sauce over the warm cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes.
  7. Let the cake cool completely, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
