Blueberry Lavender Lemonade: Refreshingly Easy Summer Drink

- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 cups water
- ice for serving
- In a saucepan, combine the blueberries, lavender, sugar, and 1 cup of water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
- Remove from heat and let it steep for 30 minutes.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, pressing on the solids to extract all the juice.
- Add the lemon juice and remaining water to the pitcher. Stir well.
- Serve over ice and garnish with additional blueberries and lavender if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness to your liking by adding more or less sugar.
- This drink can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
