  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter and eggs until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the diced apples.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before drizzling with a glaze made from powdered sugar and milk.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add vanilla extract to the batter.
  • This bread can be made a day ahead for better flavor.
