Zucchini Pizza Casserole

  • 3 medium zucchinis
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a casserole dish and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
  4. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning.
  6. Layer the sliced zucchinis in the casserole dish.
  7. Add the turkey mixture on top of the zucchinis.
  8. Sprinkle chopped turkey bacon and mozzarella cheese on top.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.
