  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and salt; sauté until they are caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and black pepper; cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in the balsamic vinegar and mix well.

  6. Remove from heat, add fresh parsley, and serve.
