Ultra Creamy Mac and Cheese Casserole

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk; cook until thickened.
  5. Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper; mix well.
  6. Remove from heat, then stir in cheeses until melted.
  7. Add cooked macaroni and half of the turkey bacon; mix well.
  8. Transfer to a baking dish, top with remaining turkey bacon.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
