  • 1 cup water
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine butter and water; bring to a boil.
  3. Stir in flour and mix until the dough forms a ball.
  4. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  5. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden.
  7. Let cool and prepare the filling by whipping cream with powdered sugar and vanilla.
  8. Cut the tops off the puffs, fill with cream, and top with strawberries.
  9. Replace tops and serve immediately.
