  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the oil, buttermilk, eggs, vanilla extract, and vinegar.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  6. Let the cakes cool completely before frosting.
