Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 1 pound fresh salmon, skinless
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 cup furikake seasoning
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup pickled ginger, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Sriracha, and soy sauce.
  4. Flake the salmon into the mayo mixture until well combined.
  5. In a baking dish, spread the cooked sushi rice evenly.
  6. Spread the salmon mixture over the rice.
  7. Top with cream cheese and sprinkle with furikake seasoning.
  8. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until heated through.
  9. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the spiciness by adding more or less Sriracha to the mayo mixture.
