  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken breasts and coat them with the spice mixture.
  2. Pour the chicken broth over the chicken and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through.
  3. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and set aside. Stir in the heavy cream and lemon juice to the broth in the slow cooker.
  4. Return the chicken to the slow cooker and let it warm through for about 10 minutes.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
