Ricotta and Spinach Stuffed Shells

Ricotta and Spinach Stuffed Shells are a delicious and easy-to-make comfort food that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

  • 12 large jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fill each cooked shell with the cheese mixture.
  5. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Place the stuffed shells in the dish and cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through and bubbly.

Notes

  • Let the shells cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • For added flavor, top with additional mozzarella cheese before baking.
