  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until golden brown.
  2. Stir in the garlic and ginger, cooking for an additional minute.
  3. Add the chicken and cook until it’s no longer pink.
  4. Mix in the garam masala, turmeric, and cumin, cooking for another minute.
  5. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and sugar, and let it cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Season with salt, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve.
