Pioneer Woman Lemon Bars

Pioneer Woman Lemon Bars are the perfect easy and refreshing treat for everyone, bringing a burst of citrus flavor to your dessert table.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, powdered sugar, and softened butter until crumbly, then press into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  3. Bake the crust for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, granulated sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  5. Pour the lemon mixture over the baked crust and return to the oven.
  6. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until set.
  7. Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares.

Notes
