- 1 pound chicken breast
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1 cup carrots, sliced
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and pepper to taste
- In a crockpot, combine chicken, chicken broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, and turkey bacon.
- Season with thyme, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, add egg noodles.
- Remove bay leaf before serving.
