  • 1 cup diced onion

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, boil chicken thighs in chicken broth until cooked through.
  2. Remove chicken, shred it, and set aside.
  3. Add carrots, celery, and onion to the broth, cooking until tender.
  4. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter and stir in milk to form a dough.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough into the simmering broth and cook until dumplings are fluffy.
  6. Add shredded chicken back to the pot and stir. Adjust seasoning as needed.
