Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Allow to sit until bubbly.
  2. Add flour, salt, orange zest, melted butter, orange juice, and egg to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, about 5 minutes.
  4. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the dough, roll out into a rectangle, and cut into strips.
  6. Roll the strips into rolls and place them in a greased baking dish.
  7. Cover and let rise again until doubled.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Mix powdered sugar and orange juice for the glaze and drizzle over warm rolls.
