  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until smooth.
  4. Stir in the molasses and egg until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until a dough forms.

  7. Place cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
