Dump and Go Crockpot Stuffed Bell Peppers

A simple and delicious recipe for stuffed bell peppers using turkey bacon.

  • 4 bell peppers
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the ground turkey, turkey bacon, cooked rice, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and salt.
  3. Stuff the mixture into the bell peppers.
  4. Place the stuffed peppers in the crockpot.
  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  6. In the last 10 minutes, sprinkle shredded cheese on top and cover until melted.

Notes

  • Make sure to adjust cooking time based on your crockpot.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables or spices to the stuffing mixture.
