Crockpot Pierogi Casserole with Kielbasa

A delicious and easy recipe for Crockpot Pierogi Casserole with Kielbasa, perfect for family meals.

  • 1 pound pierogi
  • 14 ounces kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 cup onions, diced
  • 2 cups sauerkraut, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Layer half of the pierogi in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add half of the kielbasa, onions, and sauerkraut.
  3. Sprinkle half of the cheese over the top.
  4. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  5. In a bowl, mix sour cream with garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika.
  6. Spread the sour cream mixture on top of the casserole.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until heated through and cheese is melted.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use smoked kielbasa.
  • Feel free to add bell peppers for extra veggies.
