Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 2/3 cup milk

Instructions

  1. In a Crock Pot, combine chicken broth, chicken, carrots, celery, peas, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until chicken is cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken, shred it, and return it to the pot.
  4. Mix biscuit mix and milk, then drop by spoonfuls into the pot.
  5. Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes on high until the dumplings are cooked.
