Creamy Classic Scalloped Potatoes Recipe

A delicious and simple recipe for creamy scalloped potatoes, enhanced with turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 2 pounds potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 6 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the turkey bacon and chicken ham.
  3. In a bowl, mix the heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour half of this mixture over the first layer.
  4. Repeat the layers, finishing with the cream mixture.
  5. Top with shredded cheese.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes; then remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, you can use a combination of different cheeses.
  • Let the dish sit for 10 minutes before serving to allow it to set.
