- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 pound chicken breast, diced
- 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley for garnish
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add chicken, onion, and garlic. Cook until chicken is no longer pink.
- Stir in the Cajun seasoning, then add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Mix in the Parmesan cheese until melted and combined. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the cooked fettuccine and crispy turkey bacon to the sauce, tossing to coat.
- Serve garnished with parsley.
Notes
- For extra spice, add more Cajun seasoning to taste.
- This dish can easily be made with shrimp instead of chicken.
