  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugars, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together milk and melted butter.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Fill each muffin tin about halfway with batter.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together cinnamon and sugar for topping, and sprinkle over the batter.
  7. Top with remaining batter and sprinkle with more cinnamon sugar.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before serving.
