Chinese Beef and Broccoli

  • 1 pound beef, sliced thin
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the pan and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  4. In the same pan, add the broccoli and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Stir in the oyster sauce and cook for another 2 minutes until everything is well combined.
  6. Serve hot with rice or noodles.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add sesame seeds on top before serving.
