  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Marsala wine
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then dredge them in flour.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Add mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until tender.
  6. Pour in the Marsala wine and chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer until fully cooked, about 10-15 minutes.
  8. Serve warm, drizzled with the sauce.
