Chicken Carbonara Pasta

Delicious Chicken Carbonara Pasta made with turkey bacon and chicken ham for a delightful meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup cooked chicken ham, diced
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and diced chicken ham, cooking until heated through.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Drain spaghetti, reserving some pasta water.
  6. Combine spaghetti with the chicken ham and garlic mixture.
  7. Slowly pour the egg and cheese mixture over the pasta, stirring quickly to create a creamy sauce.
  8. If needed, add reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
  9. Season with salt and pepper, then stir in parsley and bacon. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute whole wheat pasta.
  • Ensure to mix the egg mixture quickly with hot pasta to avoid scrambling.
