Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole

A creamy and cheesy chicken and rice casserole that’s perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the chicken, rice, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  5. Remove the foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
