- 500 grams white fish fillets
- 250 grams smoked fish
- 300 ml milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 100 grams peas
- 1 egg, beaten
- 80 grams grated cheese
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a pan, melt butter and sauté onion and carrots until soft.
- Add the flour and cook for another minute.
- Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
- Stir in the fish, mustard, peas, and season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with mashed potatoes and cheese.
- Brush with beaten egg and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden.
