  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the French bread into cubes and place in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Add the mixed berries over the bread cubes.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, vanilla, cinnamon, salt, and sugar.
  5. Pour the mixture over the bread and berries, ensuring everything is well coated.
  6. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator.
  7. Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with maple syrup.
